When you use the AI-powered prompt generation or optimization features, the following data is transmitted to the
PromptFlow AI Gateway:
- The prompt content you input
- Your optimization instructions or requirements
This data is transmitted solely for the purpose of generating or optimizing prompts. PromptFlow does not
collect, store, or retain this data on its servers after processing is complete. This data is never
used for AI model training or any other secondary purposes.
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To authenticate and manage user accounts
- To enable subscriptions and track billing status
- To personalize content and improve app features
- To process your prompts through the AI service when you choose to use the prompt generation or optimization
features
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
PromptFlow offers optional AI-powered features, including prompt generation and prompt optimization. This section explains how data is handled when you use these features.
a) What Data Is Sent
When you use the AI features, the prompt content you enter and any optimization instructions are sent to the
PromptFlow AI Gateway for processing. No other personal data (such as your name, email address, device
information, or usage history) is included in these requests.
b) Who the Data Is Sent To
Your prompt data is sent to the PromptFlow AI Gateway, a service operated by the developer of
PromptFlow (Lin Jiacheng). The AI Gateway processes your request using third-party large language model (LLM)
providers to generate or optimize prompts on your behalf. These third-party LLM providers may include services
such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other AI model providers. All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
c) How the Data Is Used
- Your prompt data is used exclusively to generate or optimize prompts as requested by you.
- PromptFlow does not store, log, or retain your prompt data after processing is complete.
- Your prompt data is never used for training AI models, analytics, advertising, or any other
purpose.
- Third-party LLM providers process the data in accordance with their respective privacy policies and data
processing agreements, which prohibit the use of API-submitted data for model training.
d) User Consent and Control
- The AI features are entirely optional. You are not required to use them.
- Before any data is sent to the AI Gateway, the app will clearly inform you of what data will be transmitted and
request your explicit consent.
- By tapping "Continue" or a similar confirmation action, you acknowledge and consent to the transmission of your
prompt data for AI processing.
e) Data Protection
- All data transmitted to the AI Gateway is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.
- The AI Gateway does not create persistent records of your prompt content.
- Third-party LLM providers are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data
protection regulations and provide protections equivalent to or greater than those described in this Privacy
Policy.
We use the following third-party services:
a) Apple
- Authentication via Apple ID (Sign in with Apple)
- Payment and subscription management via App Store
b) PromptFlow AI Gateway
- Processes prompt generation and optimization requests
- Operated by the developer of PromptFlow (Lin Jiacheng)
- Utilizes third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for AI processing
- Does not store or retain user prompt data after processing
All third-party services are required to provide protections for your data that are equal to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable law. AI-processed prompt data is not retained after the processing request is completed.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication mechanisms, and access controls. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If we become aware that such data has been collected, it will be promptly deleted.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data
- Request data portability
